Automated Scientific Document Categorization with Convolutional Neural Networks (Deep Learning)

A system was constructed that uses a deep learning neural network architecture to automatically classify scientific documents into a set of predefined categories.

  • Applying deep learning to the field of scientific document categorization
  • Construction of a suitable neural network architecture for the classification task
  • Implementing a web service that encapsulates the process and can be used from other software like Content Management Systems (CMS)
